4c Caring Ministry

4c is making God’s love practical and real for people who are going through difficult times. Our mission today is the same as Jesus’ mission, based on Isaiah 61:1–3. By the power of his Spirit, Christ lives in us and works through us so that we can do the same kinds of things Jesus did during his earthly ministry. 

By the power of God’s Spirit at work in us, we can: proclaim the good news of God’s love and acceptance; bind up those who are brokenhearted; and comfort those who mourn. Jesus’ mission is now our mission. 4c accomplishes Jesus’ mission by caring for people—especially when they are suffering, brokenhearted, and grieving. Demonstrating God’s love and care to hurting people during their time of need is our way of bearing witness to the good news of Jesus.

Do you have the gift of compassion and mercy? Do you like meeting people’s needs? Do you like to make people smile, even in the midst of their trials?   Have you ever wanted to help someone, but just didn’t know what to do? Then we need YOU! In big ways or small ways, God can use you in the 4C Ministry. We strive to meet the needs of those in our Church, but we also want to reach farther out into the Community. We have a Card Ministry, Prayer Bear Ministry, “Caring Casseroles” through online “Take-Them-a-Meal” site, as well as other practical activities.
